The tailslide is an aerobatic manoeuvre that starts from level flight with a 1/4 loop up into a straight vertical climb (at full power) until the aircraft loses momentum.
This abstract handcrafted Sculpture is inspired by the manoeuvre and made from the reclaimed Olive-Wood. Olive wood is very hard, strong and durable. It is deep brown in colour with strong, oil-like grain patterns that are a beautiful distinguishing feature: no two olive wood pieces are identical. This is a Unique Handcrafted Sculpture made in the island of Crete, Greece. The artist Antonios Georgakis spent a few months working from a studio in a small Village.
